It is my web site and I truly hope that you will pay me a visit there.

There is LOTS to look at. I am a Wildlife Pyrographer and almost all of my work is enhanced with Colored Pencils. Many people have asked if my work is a painting because the subjects look so realistic. Nope. It's all Woodburning.

You can find Christmas ornaments, Refrigerator Magnets, Trout nets, Custom designed Lake Maps, Home Decor, and much more. As the name of my site implies, I create original art works of Wild animals, Wild birds and fish.

If you have a web site with items or information related to mine and would like to exchange links, please feel free to e-mail me. Or visit my Links page on my site.

I started doing pyrography 15 years ago after "retiring" from fish taxidermy. My husband and I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and there was no room for a taxidermy shop. I combined my love for animals and wood into a study of woodburning. You can read more about me on my site at About The Artist.

Back then there wasn't much available to learn from. I used books and materials from Walnut Hollow in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to get going. I also purchased most of my supplies there.

Since then, pyrography has really blossomed! There are hundreds of really qualified pyrographers making a living with this art form. Besides that, pyrograpy is so enjoyable. I never tire of it. I have come so far in those 15 years and now I feel that I still have MUCH to learn. Never a dull moment, I can tell you.

I never thought of myself as an artist. Mainly because I am self-taught. However, so many people have called me an artist that I have finally accepted the title gratefully.

Eleanor
